Summer Garden 2010

We finally got the garden beds prepared for our summer garden! (A big thanks goes out to all the people that donated llama manure, and horse manure/compost to fertalize our beds with!) Here are a few pictures around the garden! I'm going to try my best to blog about my very first garden experience! I'm so excited!

Here are our starter plants. We're going to be planting them in a couple of weeks once we know that there aren't going to be any more frosts!

We are mostly doing a salsa garden, but have also chosen a few other veggies and herbs to include. My sister is using one of the beds to have a cut flower garden as well. Here is a list of our veggie plants:
(The # in front is the amount of plants we got)
1x Chives
1x Cilantro
2x Mucho Nacho Jalepenos
6x Regular Jalepenos
1x Eisley Wax Peppers
1x Numex Sunrise Peppers
1x Limmony Tomatoes
1x Super Sweet Cherry Tomatoes
2x Mortgage Lifter Tomatoes
2x Brandywine Tomatoes
2x Sungold Tomatoes
1x Lemon Cucumbers (if you haven't tried these, they are a must!)
1x Golden Yellow Bell Peppers
1x California Wonder Bell Peppers
1x Red Heirloom Bell Peppers
6x White Onions
1x Sugar Snap Peas
1x Zucchini Squash
Please wish me luck in this new adventure! I've always wanted to do this and the house we live in has given me the perfect conditions in which to start! I love our property and its location! If only we owned this property.. that would make it that much more magical!
