I love this season. It is my favorite. However.. I feel like I cant enjoy it as much cause so many other things aren't going my way. I lost my job last Friday, due to the position being eliminated. I wasn't happy at the job anyways.. but it's never fun to lose a job with nothing else lined up already. I've spent the last week searching, applying, hoping for ANY job to come along. I'm not being picky right now! I just want anything that will put some money in my pocket. Hopefully I hear back from at least some of the 30 jobs I've applied for in the past week.
On another note, I dropped my laptop a few nights ago, on the hard wood floor.. three steps forward and I would have been in the carpeted bedroom.. but nope.. it hit hard wood. It hit the floor and I screamed an obscenity, picked it up, put the battery back in and it booted right up! Thank goodness.. however when the screen lit up I saw the damage. My LCD is a little messy looking in the right hard corner. It has gotten a little better over time, but it is still ugly. At least the computer still works and I can see everything on the screen. Then on Sunday morning my external hard drive decided that it doesn't want to work anymore.. it keeps telling me that I need to format it to fix the partition. WTH??.. I will not format my 800 gigs of personal photos, my whole music library, and hundreds of movies! I have the product replacement on it, so I need to find someone that can take all the info off of it, and transfer it to a new hard drive. This is all stuff that I don't really have the funds to get fixed right away. Yikes!
Mine and Richie's birthdays were last week, he is 29 now, and I am 24. I really cant believe I'm 24 already! It was also our 4 Year Anniversary. It was really hard not to be able to be with him for all of these special days. We've never been apart for them. This whole "him being away for months at a time" is such a learning experience. It has made our relationship so much stronger.. but it is the hardest thing for both of us to handle! We are each others best friend, and we would spend every waking moment together if we could. We cant wait until he gets to pack up all of his stuff from the barracks and bring it all home, to our house, so that we can get on with being a normal couple with a normal life and work schedule. November 7th is the tentative date that he will be getting to come home. So a little less than a month left until we are back in each others arms for good! I cant wait! I miss him sooo much!
Yesterday my sister, her bf Nate, my nephew Aizik, and Nate's friend Scott all went for a little hike down to the fork of the American River. It was such a beautiful day. Not to hot, but sunshine all day. It was a pretty steep hike down.. so I knew coming up was going to be much harder! :) Once we got down closer to the water, there were swarms of bugs.. it wasn't until I noticed what kind of bugs they were that I was relieved. Lady Bugs.. hundreds.. thousands of them! It was so neat! I wish I would have taken my camera.. but I always seem to forget it when I should have had it, and I have it when there aren't really any photo ops, figures. We all had lady bugs crawling all over us. In our hair, on our arms, shirts, legs. It was so crazy, kind of creepy at times.. but really neat! I had never seen that many in one place before! I hope they are still there tomorrow. I want to take Rich over there and show him. He's coming home tonight for a few days! I cant wait to see him!!
Not much else is going on around here. Just trying to stay positive and optimistic.
PS - I cant wait for Thanksgiving! My sister Shannon, and nephew Eli are coming to see us! I miss them soo much!! Plus I love Thanksgiving food! YUM!

Relocation = Check..
We made it! We are now residents of Placerville, CA. We had to get all moved on August 12th because I had an interview scheduled for the 13th. I was a little nervous cause this was the only interview that I had set up so far.. and I was so afraid that I would get here and be jobless and become delinquent on all my payments or something. Well job interview went great.. They offered me the job.. well not the job that I was originally interviewing for.. but a position on a Special Operations Team that they are building! AWESOME!! I accepted with a smile and a firm handshake and have since been "vacationing" until my start date which is tomorrow, the 25th. Hopefully all goes well and I can get settled into my new position with ease! I caught a pretty lucky break since this economy is such a mess right now! I feel so lucky and blessed!
Our house is great! So cute and colorful. We are still getting things into their places, so I'll take some pictures once we are all the way settled. Being here without Rich totally sucks! But having my sister and Aizik here is amazing! I love them to pieces!!
Now its time to get back on a schedule, routine, diet, ya know.. all that good responsible stuff! I'm feeling a little sluggish since I havent been doing the gym thing for the past 2 months.. Im ready to fix that though! All it takes is a little motivation (which is sometimes the hardest part) And determination.
ps.. I went river rafting for the first time yesterday. It was a blast! I am totally sore from all the rowing (which I know is from me being so out of shape again). I'll post more on the River Rafting trip later once I get the pics from my sis!

Our dog Jodi is hilarious.. you blow one bubble and she goes crazy! She jumps, barks, and snaps them up, then after a few bubbles in the mouth she makes her way to her water bowl.. I can only imagine how they would make your mouth feel! Yuck!

Hear Ye, Hear Ye..
Rich and I are relocating to our favorite place! Placerville, CA.
Placervile is the town that Thomas Kinkade, the famous painter grew up in, and is what alot of his paintings are based on, and his hometown gallery is located there. It really is a beautiful area.
With some of our favorite people in the whole world! April & Aizik.
I have already given my work a months notice. We already have a sweet house lined up that includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a landscaped yard, a garden, and a chicken coop! I am planning on making the move at the beginning of August sometime, and Rich will join us when his season of wild land fire fighting is over in October. I'm being VERY optimistic that I will be able to find a job as soon as I get there! I am so so so very excited to be able to spend this time with my great sister and my first nephew.. who is already 10 and a half!! HOLY COW.. is he really that old?!?! WOW! This summer/fall is going to be awesome! I cant wait for this great opportunity and adventure that is about to begin :)

Hume Lake
A few weekends ago I went and visited Rich where he is working for the summer in Hume Lake. It is located in Kings Canyon, which is part of the Sequoia National Forest (The biggest trees on earth!!). I'm supposed to go again this weekend for the the 4th of July, but he was called out to a fire in Yosemite today, so we dont know if he'll be back by the weekend or not.. I'm on stand by until we know for sure. Here are a few pictures of my time spent there!

Swim Wear
So I've noticed a few people posting about summer swim wear.. I thought I would share with you my buys for this year since I had to replace all my previous suits ;) I'm not comfortable enough to post pics of myself in my suits.. so here are pics from the internet :) Hopefully I'll get some beach time in this summer!

Whats New With Us
Alot has happened since my last post! I'll start at the beginning..
At the end of March I flew to Utah for a week to see my friends/family, and also for my surgery ["bigger girls" surgery, if you didnt know hehe ;)]. I had a blast!! I love spending time with my sister and my girls! I had a few days to go out and have fun before my surgery. My surgery was on April 2nd, everything went great! I spent the next 3 days on my sisters couch, sick from the meds, and unable to get good sleep cause I couldnt lay down.. on the day that I was supposed to fly home, I was still in alot of pain, and couldnt move without throwing up.. so we called the doctors 24 hour line, and I was told to go to the ER.. SCARY!! Well after 4 hours in the ER, getting all sorts of tests, everything turned out to be fine, and I got clearence to fly home.. I was back to work the next day. :) I'm happy with how they turned out, and I'm healing relativley well (I'm having some issues with a tendon in my arm, but I'm hoping that will straiten itself out as the healing goes on)
A few weeks later, Rich and I drove to Las Vegas for a weekend with some Utah friends that were getting married. We had such a blast with them, and I wish we had friends like them here were we are.
Last week, we flew to Orlando FL for my dad's wedding! All my sisters flew in too. We has such and amazing weekend! We spent a couple of days laying on the beach, a couple late nights sharing pictures, stories, laughs, hugs, loves, drinks! And then dads wedding was great! I love my new step mom! Her name is Miranda and she is so great!! Her daughter is my age, and I love her to death! We're so much alike, it's crazy!! I was soo sad to leave! But we did have an amazing time while we were there.
And lastly.. we're moving! Rich got a job with the Forest Service as a wild land fire fighter in the san jaoquin valley, so we'll be relocating to the Visalia/Fresno area for the next few months. Rich will be leaving next week, and then I'll follow as soon as my semester is over, with is the last week of May. I have so many emotions about the move.. I'm mostly very excited!! But I also have feelings of anxiety, stress, fear, etc. I know everything is going to be fine, and this is going to be such an adventure for us! I'll also be closer to my sister April, which will be an awesome getaway in the summertime!
Thats about all we've been up to this month! I'll keep updating on how the moving process is going! Here are a few pictures from my vacation!

Utah Trip!
I'm so so excited! I haven't been to Utah in almost 2 YEARS! I miss all my people! I'm flying in on March 28th, and flying home on April 5th! There is another reason I'm going to Utah though.. I'll be having a surgical procedure on April 2nd. I'm so happy that I have so many great people that are willing to take care of me while I recover before I fly home to my love Rich.
Not much else has been going on here, just alot of school.. alot of studying, not so much work (we've been so dang slow for the past few months!). You may have noticed that I started a 2nd blog.. its nothing important, it's more just for myself as a studying tool.. you can peak at it if you'd like :)

My Dadji
So my dadji is getting remarried.. I hear 3rd times a charm! Rich and I will be flying to Florida at the end of April, my other sisters will be as well, for the ceremony.. simple, small, intimate ceremony. I'm excited! I wish you all the best dad!! I Love you!

I think I did good on the lecture test, the lab practicum is what I'm worried about.. Ugh.. Anatomy/Physiology isn't as easy as it was in High School! Oh yeah.. and the Allied Health Program that I'm on the list for (Diagnostic Medical Sonography) has a 4 or more year waiting list... yeah right.. like I'm going to wait that long! I could have my bachelors by then!! I'm kind of bummed today! What to do now?!

Spring Semester 2009
So I started school on Tuesday (they started a week late.. who knows why?!). I was originally enrolled in Medical Terminology, Anatomy/Physiology, and Health Occupations.
On my first day of A/P my professor says.. uh... it's probably not very smart to do both A/P and Medical Terminology at the same time.. so I came home, and dropped M.T. I've only been to 2 lectures and 1 lab.. and my head is already spinning.. I'm shooting for an A (fingers crossed) but wont be disappointed as long as I pass with grade that goes along with how much effort I put into the class.. which is probably going to be a lot.
I'm scared.. I feel unfocused, and I hope to God that I can pull through this and keep my GPA up. Please wish me luck! haha I'm gonna need it.

I started reading the Twilight Saga last Saturday... I'm already on book 3, Eclipse.. I think I'll be done with the whole saga by sometime next week.. I love reading.. plus I downloaded the audio versions.. so while I'm working, I listen to it on my Ipod (is that cheating?!).. then I come home and pick up where I left off! Pretty convenient if you ask me :) Plus.. I feel like a 16 year old girl again while I'm reading them! It's a pretty cool feeling when I'm trying to be a grown up at the same time!ps.. what are you doing for Valentines Day? I get to pick the restaraunt... I'm still deciding.. I think I know what I'm going to get for my Richie, but I can't say on here.. cause I'm pretty sure he reads this ;) I hope everyone has a great, romantic day with the one that you love!

100 Things that you probably don’t know about Moi!
I can't believe I came up with 100 things.. it took me probably a total of 4 hours! Here it goes!
1. Almost every member of my family lives in a different state: April – Northern Cali, Shannon – Utah, Dad – Florida, Mom – Texas.
2. I’ve never been in a real relationship with a “white” guy. Haha
3. I’ve been best friends with Jandi since 2nd grade. The first thing she ever said to me was “Are you a boy or a girl?” haha when I said “I’M A GIRL”.. She said.. ok, do you want to be friends.. and we stuck together ever since! (I wasnt very "girly" back then)
4. Jandi and I played dolls til we were probably 12 or 13 years old. I’m surprised that neither of us have kids yet!
5. Rich and I own a six foot red tail boa named Izzy. She’s bitten me once, and almost did a 2nd time… I have a hard time trusting her now.
6. Today was my 3 year anniversary at my job.. I look at peoples criminal records all day long.. it’s kind of annoying now!
7. My sister Shannon lost her 2nd son Mikah to a genetic disease called Gaucher’s Type 2 when he was 11 months old. This was the hardest thing that I’ve ever had to deal with. I can’t believe how strong my sister is!
8. When I was in 11th grade at Weber High, one of my best guy friends, Zane Jensen, committed suicide.. I sobbed uncontrollably for at least a week.. after that incident I never went back to Weber.
9. Jandi and I used to roll “cigarettes” out of paper and then we’d stuff them with toilet paper and burn them like we were smoking.. I’m surprised that neither of us turned out to be smokers.. or that we didn’t burn the field down that was behind her house.
10. In high school at Box Elder, right after I got my license I was taking all the girls to lunch and as I was pulling out of the stall I hit the car next to me.. I was scared so I just left… No one ever said anything about it ever again. LOL
11. I taught all my friends how to drive stick in my Geo Storm Hatchback that had many names.. The Bird, The Almond Joy, Etc… needless to say, my mom had to replace the clutch after only a few months… oops!
12. I have quite the extensive music collection.. I pretty much LOVE any and all music.. Except for scream-o.. I can’t really hang with that kind of stuff!
13. When I met Rich (I was 17) he had a girlfriend.. a few years later we ran into each other again and he was still with her (had been with her for 5 years)… but not for long.. He decided loved me instead… We’ve been super happy ever since.
14. I moved to Cali to live with Rich 2 months after we decided that we wanted to be together.. I still cant believe that I did it.. but it couldn’t have worked out any better!
15. I dropped out of 2 different schools in 11th grade.. I went back to Box Elder my senior year and graduated early.
16. I have a 3.87 GPA in college.. I’m pretty damn proud of myself.. not to mention I’m paying for it all out my own pocket!
17. I sleep with a special blanket every night.. I can’t sleep without it… and I don’t share it with Rich.. It’s mine and only mine!
18. I could watch Investigation Discovery or A&E all day long! I also love to watch Discovery Health, and sometimes TLC.. but I Love Love The Food Channel Nighttime!
19. My mom knows how to do just about everything! She was always the “Handy Man” around our house!
20. I used to have “parties” at my house when we were in intermediate/middle school with all the cool girls and boys and we’d play spin the bottle, or truth or dare! Truth or Dare would turn into.. you kiss him, or you kiss her! Haha… we were so lame! I love it!
21. I love food! But I’m not very adventurous when it comes to “new” or “weird” foods.
22. I ate my first piece of sushi last year! I was 22 years old
23. My first time at DisneyLand, I was 21 years old! My parents never took us to California even when we were growing up.
24. I used to spend most of my summers in Texas with my grandparents, up til I was about 12 or 13 years old.
25. I lived in Las Vegas for 5 months in 2005 until my nephew got really sick, then I moved back to Utah with my sister and the family. I loved living in Las Vegas… I made a lot of really neat friends!
26. When I was 2 years old, our neighbors down the street chow dog bit my arm, and almost took it off at the elbow.. if the dog would have yanked or shook my arm probably would have been mangled.. instead I just have a scar.
27. Even though #26 happened.. I still loved dogs so so much! I cant wait til we live in a place where we can have one of our own.
28. I love baking! It calms my soul when I’m having a bad day/week.. I get ALL my baking recipes from my mother/grandmother.
29. I am obsessed with kitchen stuff! When I have my own kitchen.. it will be packed with the coolest gadgets and appliances!!
30. I’m also pretty crazy about anything baby… be that human babies, baby animals, baby clothes, etc.. It freaks Rich out! He’s not ready for a baby… I’d say I am (but I’m really probably not!) lol
31. I have a tattoo that runs from the top of my ribs, to my hip bone… It’s a trail of stars.
32. I love anything that has to do with stars and space.. and I think its pretty cool that my dad works at the Kennedy Space Center as part of NASA and ATK Thiokol.
33. I don’t have a very good sense of style; I usually just copy of best friend Kathy when I need to go shopping! Haha
34. My parents were divorced when I was 12; my dad remarried when I was 13, and my mom remarried when I was 16. Mom is still married; Dad is back in the dating world! He’s such a ladies’ man!
35. I wish I knew how to do my hair super cute, like all my girls in Utah do.. I just don’t have the knack for it.. so it usually looks the same all the time (unless I get a little adventurous)
36. I remember A LOT of people from grade school to high school; But I always feel like they wont remember who I am.
37. I love any kind of Lillies; Especially the orange ones Rich got me for my birthday last year!
38. When Jandi and I were probably 9 or 10 we would walk around Brigham City holding hands and singing the song “Lean on Me” to each other. Ahhh… we were so cute!
39. My mom did nails the whole time when I was growing up, and I probably spent half of my childhood sitting in the salon watching her! I still see and smell it all so clearly. She now works at a prison in the admin office, and does nails on the side. I love her!
40. I cant watch movies in bed.. If I do, there is a 99.9% chance that I will fall asleep; ok, if its anytime after 8 pm.. I’m bound to fall asleep no matter where I watch the movie.
41. My Granny died last year, she was 99 years old! My other Great Grandma is in her early 90’s I think.. she still lives on her own, and is very competent! I think I can look forward to a long life.
42. I only have 2 cousins on my dads side; and only 9 on my moms side. Not a very big family at all!
43. I had a babysitter that lived around the corner, that would let her kids lock me in the closet and they would eat in front of me but wouldn’t feed me.. my mom didn’t let that last for long!
44. I was allergic to dairy when I was a kid, I was in a constant state of stuffy nose for years.
45. My sisters used to make fun of me cause when I was little I couldn’t hear and would say “what” all the time. My mom finally took me to the doctors and found out that I needed tubes in my ears.. bad! I really couldn’t hear, and now they feel bad for making fun of me.
46. My sisters used to chase me around that house saying “Heather’s a weed, Heather’s a weed”; I would cry and cry L Being the baby sister sucks sometimes.
47. I had a cyst on my lip that I would suck and bite on, I had to have it surgically removed, twice; I think I was probably 4 or 5.
48. I almost drowned right in front of my moms face at Belmont Springs.
49. When I was 2 or 3 we went boating with my moms uncle; we had been floating around in the lake with our life vests on when my mom made us get back in the boat for lunch. She asked me if I was done swimming and I said yes so she took off my life jacket.. well after 2 Doritos I decided I wanted to get back in and splash… I was back in without telling anyone; I remember the greenish color of the lake water, and the tiny bubbles rushing past my face. My grandpa saw from the other side of the boat so he jumped over the ladder, ripping his swim trunks, and saved my life!
50. To this day, I am deathly afraid of swimming in the middle of a lake, or even dipping into the Ocean.. I now consider myself to be a hydrophobic, but only of large bodies of water.
51. I’ve always loved my feet.. I think they’re pretty cute!
52. In 5th grade at Lake View Elementary the school was putting on the play Cinderella. I tried out to be either the fairy Godmother, or a step sister.. I did not want to be Cinderella.. plus all my best friends were trying out for that part so I didn’t want it.. Needless to say, they cast me as Cinderella…and Barry Boyce had to kiss my hand at the end.. I was so embarrassed!
53. I hate my nose.. I always have.. if I could I would get a nose job.. but Rich loves it, so he wont let me. Darn it!

55. I am deathly afraid of getting into a serious car accident. One of my best friends, Amy Peterson died in one almost 2 years ago, and it only intensified my fear! I get so mad at Rich when he drives like a crazy person.. I’ve been known to start crying if I’m in a certain state of mind.
56. I already have baby names picked out for a boy or girl.. I dunno if Rich likes my boy name.. but I’ll talk him into it if it ever comes to that! But I’m not going to tell, because when I was 17 I told my sister I wanted to name my little girl Myka if I ever had a girl. As soon as she had her next baby, she went ahead and named in Mikah.. RUDE! But he is such an angel to our family now that I don’t mind at all.
57. I have a crazy sense of smell, I can smell everything and I’m famous for saying “it smells like*insert random thing here*”. My sister Shannon does the same thing.. we always laugh when we’re together cause we both end up doing it.
58. I fear that I take way to much Motrin. I’ve been trying to “wean” myself off of it for a little while.
59. I have freckles.. My boyfriends have always said that they like them.. but I think I have way to many.. Thanks dad!
60. I had a whole bunch of mini frogs when I was a kid, that I fed crickets too. They eventually all died; well when my dad was preparing to sell the house, he found the skeleton of one in the vent. SICK
61. If I were to ever receive a ring from someone, I wouldn’t want a huge brand new ring. I want an antique, beautiful ring. I think antique engagement rings are much more beautiful than the newly designed jewelry.
62. I love techno music, I also love country. Who woulda thought?!
63. When I grow up (hehe) I want to live in the country, and own a goat, a sheep, a horse, a cow, dogs, cats, chickens.. I love that stuff! Oh Oh and I want a huge garden! I love growing my own stuff!
64. I’ve had the same cell phone number for almost 8 years. I refuse to change it.
65. I would love to live in Costa Rica or Spain for at least a year.. I want to be submerged into the Spanish lifestyle.. plus I really want to learn how to speak Spanish.. what better way than to be forced?
66. My dream car is an Audi S5. I think it is the most beautiful car ever. But for now, Im stuck driving my Scion Tc.
67. I would also love to have a brand new Chevy Silverado 2500 for my hunny! He is defiantly a Chevy Truck man!
68. Rich and I bought a motorcycle last year. Its fun to ride around on nice days!
69. I am just about to start my spring semester and I’m scared to death that it’ll be too hard.. I’m taking Anatomy/Physiology, medical terminology, and health occupations. Please wish me luck! Haha
70. I hate spending money on books for school.. it seems like every time I’ve bought a school book, we hardly ever use it in class. It’s getting harder and harder for me to buy them!
71. I’m a people pleaser, so even though I don’t want too, and will get so frustrated with myself.. I will usually always do what someone asks me too. Especially at work.
72. I’m currently sitting in a prime cubicle, next to a window with a lot of desk space at work, but they are moving my desk across the office to a dark corner. I’m kind of pissed.
73. I love to go dancing with my girls. It’s been far too long because it’s kind of hard to have a girls night when we live 800 miles apart.
74. I’ve lived in OC cali for 3 years, and I still haven’t met anyone that is best friend worthy. Girls here are a lot different than those in Utah.
75. My biggest pet peeve is when someone finishes, or almost finishes eating something, and then puts the empty or almost empty container back into the cabinet/fridge. I get seriously pissed! Finish it and toss it!!!
76. I love love love Iced Tea! But it can’t be sweetened.. that makes it yucky!
77. I love to watch shows about babies, and pregnant girls.. Some day I’ll get to do go through all the joys myself.. probably not anytime soon though.
78. I bought a really nice digital camera that I am afraid of.. I need to take a class to learn how to use it. It really gives me anxiety.
79. My new favorite snack is hummus.. I just started making my own! It’s so easy!
80. Rich is an avid fisherman.. I just barely started fishing with him last year when I bought myself a pink ugly stick (Ugly Stick is the brand of a fishing pole). My first time using my pole, I caught an 10 to 12 pound Bass. Rich is still a little bitter about that day! Haha (He defiantly helped me reel it in and get it into the boat.. so I say we both caught it)
81. We got a Siamese kitten when I was 2. He died when I was 13. He weighed about 25 pounds. That was a fat cat! We say he died of a broken heart after my mom moved out.
82. I spend way to much of my time in front of a computer.. I should probably get my eyes checked.
83. I love the group of friends that I had in intermediate and middle school. Jandi, Angie, Todd, Danny, Brady, Tyson, Etc. I had a lot of fun times with them!
84. When we were probably 14 or 15 we would beg someone to drive us to Ogden so we could go to classic skating, and “meet boys”. If we went when Todd and Danny were there we would pretend we didn’t know them!
85. My sister and Sheena took me to the club “The Bay” when I was 14. I can’t believe I got in!
86. I am a recent huge fan of The Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles (hate the name, love the team).
87. I had a best friend names Becca when I was a sophomore, we hung out all the time and got a long really good. Then one day she stopped talking to me and to this day she still hates me.. I still don’t know what happened. Weird
88. I never liked my step mother; But I’ve always loved my little half sister. She’ll be 9 years old this year! I cant believe it!
89. My first nephew Aizik just turned 10! I still remember the day he was born. We stood outside the door when he was born and I cried when I heard him crying! He didn’t turn pink fast enough so the brought him out on an oxygen cart and let me administer the oxygen to him!
90. My 2nd nephew Eli was a different story.. I guess my mother asked my sister to let me stay in the room while she delivered. Worst experience of my life! I’m surprised I still want to have kids! My poor sister!
91. When I lived in Vegas I was all enrolled and ready to start massage therapy school, then my nephew got sick so I had to withdraw. I’m kind of glad I didn’t go through with it.
92. I’ve had way to many people that were close to me die. It is really hard on a person. RIP: Mikah, Zane, Dan, Amy, Chad, Josh, Sita, Eric, Amber, Aubrey. Tragic deaths are never a good thing!
93. I love my showers to be super hot.. it drives Rich crazy cause he’s “sensitive” to hot water.
94. I have the hardest time finishing bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, etc. I always end up buying a new kind.. I have a basket full of half full bottles of stuff.
95. I LOVE bagels! Especially jalapeño cheddar ones with cream cheese!
96. My favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy.. and I get upset if I miss it! Rich knows not to mess with me at 9 pm on Thursdays!
97. I fear that I am going to be a way to over protective mother. I really don’t want my kids to be unhealthy, or under stimulated.
98. I’m obsessed with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter lotion. It’s the only lotion I use.
99. I have 0 artistic talent. It’s kind of sad.. I think it all got used up on my 2 sisters before me.
100. I really really really HOPE Rich gets him job back in Utah, or on a CalFire team so that we can move!
1. Almost every member of my family lives in a different state: April – Northern Cali, Shannon – Utah, Dad – Florida, Mom – Texas.

3. I’ve been best friends with Jandi since 2nd grade. The first thing she ever said to me was “Are you a boy or a girl?” haha when I said “I’M A GIRL”.. She said.. ok, do you want to be friends.. and we stuck together ever since! (I wasnt very "girly" back then)
4. Jandi and I played dolls til we were probably 12 or 13 years old. I’m surprised that neither of us have kids yet!
5. Rich and I own a six foot red tail boa named Izzy. She’s bitten me once, and almost did a 2nd time… I have a hard time trusting her now.
6. Today was my 3 year anniversary at my job.. I look at peoples criminal records all day long.. it’s kind of annoying now!
7. My sister Shannon lost her 2nd son Mikah to a genetic disease called Gaucher’s Type 2 when he was 11 months old. This was the hardest thing that I’ve ever had to deal with. I can’t believe how strong my sister is!
8. When I was in 11th grade at Weber High, one of my best guy friends, Zane Jensen, committed suicide.. I sobbed uncontrollably for at least a week.. after that incident I never went back to Weber.
9. Jandi and I used to roll “cigarettes” out of paper and then we’d stuff them with toilet paper and burn them like we were smoking.. I’m surprised that neither of us turned out to be smokers.. or that we didn’t burn the field down that was behind her house.
10. In high school at Box Elder, right after I got my license I was taking all the girls to lunch and as I was pulling out of the stall I hit the car next to me.. I was scared so I just left… No one ever said anything about it ever again. LOL
11. I taught all my friends how to drive stick in my Geo Storm Hatchback that had many names.. The Bird, The Almond Joy, Etc… needless to say, my mom had to replace the clutch after only a few months… oops!
12. I have quite the extensive music collection.. I pretty much LOVE any and all music.. Except for scream-o.. I can’t really hang with that kind of stuff!
13. When I met Rich (I was 17) he had a girlfriend.. a few years later we ran into each other again and he was still with her (had been with her for 5 years)… but not for long.. He decided loved me instead… We’ve been super happy ever since.
14. I moved to Cali to live with Rich 2 months after we decided that we wanted to be together.. I still cant believe that I did it.. but it couldn’t have worked out any better!
15. I dropped out of 2 different schools in 11th grade.. I went back to Box Elder my senior year and graduated early.
16. I have a 3.87 GPA in college.. I’m pretty damn proud of myself.. not to mention I’m paying for it all out my own pocket!
17. I sleep with a special blanket every night.. I can’t sleep without it… and I don’t share it with Rich.. It’s mine and only mine!
18. I could watch Investigation Discovery or A&E all day long! I also love to watch Discovery Health, and sometimes TLC.. but I Love Love The Food Channel Nighttime!
19. My mom knows how to do just about everything! She was always the “Handy Man” around our house!
20. I used to have “parties” at my house when we were in intermediate/middle school with all the cool girls and boys and we’d play spin the bottle, or truth or dare! Truth or Dare would turn into.. you kiss him, or you kiss her! Haha… we were so lame! I love it!
21. I love food! But I’m not very adventurous when it comes to “new” or “weird” foods.
22. I ate my first piece of sushi last year! I was 22 years old
23. My first time at DisneyLand, I was 21 years old! My parents never took us to California even when we were growing up.
24. I used to spend most of my summers in Texas with my grandparents, up til I was about 12 or 13 years old.
25. I lived in Las Vegas for 5 months in 2005 until my nephew got really sick, then I moved back to Utah with my sister and the family. I loved living in Las Vegas… I made a lot of really neat friends!
26. When I was 2 years old, our neighbors down the street chow dog bit my arm, and almost took it off at the elbow.. if the dog would have yanked or shook my arm probably would have been mangled.. instead I just have a scar.
27. Even though #26 happened.. I still loved dogs so so much! I cant wait til we live in a place where we can have one of our own.
28. I love baking! It calms my soul when I’m having a bad day/week.. I get ALL my baking recipes from my mother/grandmother.
29. I am obsessed with kitchen stuff! When I have my own kitchen.. it will be packed with the coolest gadgets and appliances!!
30. I’m also pretty crazy about anything baby… be that human babies, baby animals, baby clothes, etc.. It freaks Rich out! He’s not ready for a baby… I’d say I am (but I’m really probably not!) lol
31. I have a tattoo that runs from the top of my ribs, to my hip bone… It’s a trail of stars.
32. I love anything that has to do with stars and space.. and I think its pretty cool that my dad works at the Kennedy Space Center as part of NASA and ATK Thiokol.
33. I don’t have a very good sense of style; I usually just copy of best friend Kathy when I need to go shopping! Haha
34. My parents were divorced when I was 12; my dad remarried when I was 13, and my mom remarried when I was 16. Mom is still married; Dad is back in the dating world! He’s such a ladies’ man!
35. I wish I knew how to do my hair super cute, like all my girls in Utah do.. I just don’t have the knack for it.. so it usually looks the same all the time (unless I get a little adventurous)
36. I remember A LOT of people from grade school to high school; But I always feel like they wont remember who I am.
37. I love any kind of Lillies; Especially the orange ones Rich got me for my birthday last year!

39. My mom did nails the whole time when I was growing up, and I probably spent half of my childhood sitting in the salon watching her! I still see and smell it all so clearly. She now works at a prison in the admin office, and does nails on the side. I love her!
40. I cant watch movies in bed.. If I do, there is a 99.9% chance that I will fall asleep; ok, if its anytime after 8 pm.. I’m bound to fall asleep no matter where I watch the movie.
41. My Granny died last year, she was 99 years old! My other Great Grandma is in her early 90’s I think.. she still lives on her own, and is very competent! I think I can look forward to a long life.
42. I only have 2 cousins on my dads side; and only 9 on my moms side. Not a very big family at all!
43. I had a babysitter that lived around the corner, that would let her kids lock me in the closet and they would eat in front of me but wouldn’t feed me.. my mom didn’t let that last for long!
44. I was allergic to dairy when I was a kid, I was in a constant state of stuffy nose for years.
45. My sisters used to make fun of me cause when I was little I couldn’t hear and would say “what” all the time. My mom finally took me to the doctors and found out that I needed tubes in my ears.. bad! I really couldn’t hear, and now they feel bad for making fun of me.
46. My sisters used to chase me around that house saying “Heather’s a weed, Heather’s a weed”; I would cry and cry L Being the baby sister sucks sometimes.
47. I had a cyst on my lip that I would suck and bite on, I had to have it surgically removed, twice; I think I was probably 4 or 5.
48. I almost drowned right in front of my moms face at Belmont Springs.
49. When I was 2 or 3 we went boating with my moms uncle; we had been floating around in the lake with our life vests on when my mom made us get back in the boat for lunch. She asked me if I was done swimming and I said yes so she took off my life jacket.. well after 2 Doritos I decided I wanted to get back in and splash… I was back in without telling anyone; I remember the greenish color of the lake water, and the tiny bubbles rushing past my face. My grandpa saw from the other side of the boat so he jumped over the ladder, ripping his swim trunks, and saved my life!
50. To this day, I am deathly afraid of swimming in the middle of a lake, or even dipping into the Ocean.. I now consider myself to be a hydrophobic, but only of large bodies of water.

52. In 5th grade at Lake View Elementary the school was putting on the play Cinderella. I tried out to be either the fairy Godmother, or a step sister.. I did not want to be Cinderella.. plus all my best friends were trying out for that part so I didn’t want it.. Needless to say, they cast me as Cinderella…and Barry Boyce had to kiss my hand at the end.. I was so embarrassed!
